Unlike people, animals receive healing with no pre-conceived ideas of what should or should not happen. They have no belief system, so some sceptics would say that healing can’t possibly work on animals. But whether people or animals, belief is not necessary for the healing to work.

Animals take to healing very well and as it is not necessary to physically touch the animal (healing within the aura), even if they are sensitive, have injuries or recovering from surgery, the healing can take place without causing the animal any distress.

As with people, the Reiki or Spiritual healing is there to compliment not replace. It is not a miracle cure, but can in some cases significantly benifit the animal by speeding up the healing process and helping relieve pain and relaxing the animal.

It must be remembered that you should always seek your vet’s expertise about your animal’s sickness or injury. You must always inform your vet that your animal is receiving or has recieved healing and your animal must continue to take any medication that has been prescibed.
